Annie's Three Sisters' Suites | 915 North Sycamore Street

The accommodations at Annie's Three Sisters' Suites are designed to meet temporary housing needs for those who are relocating, buying a new home, vacationing, or in the Palestine area for an extended business trip.  Both suites offer an alternative to hotel living; providing fully furnished suites and flexible lease terms. Pricing is determined by length of stay. Each suite affords all the comforts of home.

Built in 1900 and lovingly restored in 2004, The Historic Everett House is a designated historic landmark. The modified L-Plan Queen Anne style house has two suites.  Because we respect your privacy, each suite is totally separate and self-contained with private entries. The suites are separated by a dramatic entry that features an ornate and unique mantle and fireplace that is original to the house.  Because historic preservation is a high priority with the owners, special attention has been paid to retaining the original hardwood floors, windows, and interior trim.

Each one bedroom, one bathroom suite is fully furnished and all bills are paid. Both suites are furnished with antiques and period pieces, cable television, DVD or VHS, all new linens, dishes and cookware.  The sparkling new kitchen appliances include electric ranges, refrigerators, microwaves, dishwashers, clothes washers and dryers. They are furnished with complete housewares for kitchen, bath and bedroom.  Individual Central Heat and Air Conditioning in each suite allows for individual programmable climate control.

Suite A has a private, glass enclosed sun porch for that early morning coffee and newspaper or afternoon cup of tea. The suite has a queen bed.

Suite B features a large antique French oak dining room set that is ideal for entertaining or providing space for your own work projects. Private, well lighted, off street parking is provided.  Suite B has an unusually large eat-in kitchen.  The bedroom has a king size bed. The bedroom is separated from the dining room/sitting room by antique pocket doors.

History Of The Everett House:

The historic Everett house is an example of a modified L-plan house with Queen Anne stylistic features.  This property is noteworthy because it is virtually unaltered and retains its integrity to a high degree.  The turned porch supports and the shingled siding in the gales are indicative of the Queen Anne style which was locally popular during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The earliest known owner of this house was G.A. Everett, co-owner of the Everett & Meyer Mule Barn.  In 1977, the house was converted into a duplex.  In 2004, Sid and Linda Walton completely restored the house to its original beauty, retaining the concept of two separate suites.
